Bumblebee Jasper, a complicated calcium carbonate mineral with traces of manganese oxide and arsenic, is not a real jasper. Because of inclusions of sulfur (yellow), calcium and aragonite (white), orpiment and realgar (orange), and pyrite (black), the banding and layering, which resembles a typical bumblebee (thus the name), is present. In the 1990s, the Papandayan Volcano in the Indonesian province of West Java was where this mineral was first identified. Since that time, this mineral has not yet been located elsewhere on Earth, and geologists do not anticipate discovering another deposit of it very soon. This is a very uncommon occurrence in nature that just doesn't happen, thus it deserves to be treasured, appreciated, and loved for the actual rarity and originality it possesses.
